Summer Turnout

Since its launch a year ago, the Scottish firm Pro-Equine Ltd has further developed its range of innovative, chemical-free products for dogs and hroses. Working alongside many top equine aromatherapists, herbalists, nutritionists and race trainers before developing the Pro-Equine range, a spokesman for the company comments: "In response to the growing demand for products that are not only effective but also comply with stringent FEI regulations, we have developed the Pro-Equine range based on natural ingredients. By omitting chemical and artificial ingredients, we offer safer, non-irritant products that work in synergy with the horse's natural functions."

The Pro-Equine range includes various topical applications and feed supplements which are applicable to all equines, from happy hackers to top competition animals.

Whe Elaine Hodkinson rode from the West to East cost of Scotland in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Pro-Equine donated three products to help Elaine and her team. The horses were fed Stamina, a liquid tonic to improve endurance and delay the onset of muscle fatigue. At the end of each day the horses were washed with Cool Wash, an alcohol-free aloe vera and peppermint rinse to help refresh the horses, and treated with Shin Guard, to reduce the effects orf riding on hard ground. The horses remained fit and sound throughout the 200-mile trip.
